How do you get your dysfunctional, estranged family together in the same room? Pretend you’re dead and invite them all to your funeral, of course! Mavis, the matriarch of a family of misfits, fibbers and conspirators, has a plan to reunite them once and for all. But when an ice storm traps the feuding family (including several sets of identical twins) in the funeral home, secrets are revealed, long-hidden truths emerge and the family curse that keeps siblings apart explodes. The result is a wickedly funny comedy about secrets, lies, and the desperate lengths we go to for love and connection.
